Heidi Fransila

I bring civil servant expertise from the Finnish Government to our company’s toolbox. I had a long career at the Ministry of Defence before transitioning to my current role at Blic. During my time as a civil servant, I was involved in developing Finland’s security and defense policy as well as international defense cooperation with various countries, authorities, and international organizations. I’ve gained international work experience through positions at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, including at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C., and at the UK Ministry of Defence. In Finland, in addition to the Ministry of Defence, I have also worked at the civil society organization CMI (Crisis Management Initiative). I hold a Master of Arts degree from The George Washington University in the United States.

At Blic, I work not only with defense clients but also in several different client teams. It is a pleasure to be part of developing Blic both as a company and as a work community.
