I began working as Associate Director in May 2026. I joined Blic after serving as Special Advisor to the Minister of the Environment and Climate.

For several years, I have been responsible for climate, energy, environmental, forestry, and agricultural policy within the National Coalition Party, and I have served as a special advisor to ministers in various government sectors. I participated in negotiations on Prime Minister Orpo’s government program as a member of the working group responsible for the “Clean Energy Finland” initiative. During Prime Minister Sipilä’s term, my responsibilities also included matters falling under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. In public affairs, I have previous experience particularly with questions related to pharmaceutical legislation.

I know the processes of legislative drafting and decision-making, the dynamics and networks of the stakeholder work that is central to advocacy, and the pressures for change in operating environments.

I want to help advance regulation and an operating environment that give companies the opportunity to succeed and to create wider benefit around them. Before moving into politics and public affairs, I worked in export roles in the forest industry. I hold a Master of Science in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki.
