Blic's new analyst Veera Savonen

Welcome to Blic, our new analyst Veera Savonen!

I work as an analyst at Blic’s office in Brussels. I follow EU decision-making, prepare legislative reports, and participate in a wide range of client work. I’m particularly inspired by the diversity of client needs and the international working environment, which allows me to combine strategic thinking and advocacy on a practical level.

I’m currently finishing my Master’s degree in Social Sciences at the University of Lapland, where I’ve focused on leadership, politics, and strategic work. At the same time, I’m studying law in the bilingual degree program at the University of Helsinki. I bring to the Blic team the ability to structure complex entities, an understanding of legal-political interrelations, and strong collaboration skills in both expert and client work.

Before joining Blic, I gained experience working at a leading business law firm, several ministries, and a youth organization where I served as Executive Director. Additionally, I’ve been active on the boards of several organizations and associations, which has expanded my networks, diversified my expertise, and deepened my societal perspective.
