Harri Haavisto joins Blic as Manager

Before joining Blic, Haavisto played a key role at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment’s Energy Department, focusing on renewable energy legislation, particularly the reform of the distribution obligation and sustainability laws, as well as promoting the production and use of renewable hydrogen. He also participated in EU-level negotiations, such as the Fit for 55 package and the RED III directive, represented Finland in European Commission expert groups on renewable fuels and sustainability criteria, and led national working groups and studies. Haavisto previously worked at the Energy Authority, where he was involved in implementing and supervising the national sustainability system for biofuels.
