Olivia Assefa

I started working at Blic in August 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Helsinki. In my studies, I have focused in particular on political and organisational studies, communication and economics.

Before joining Blic, I gained experience in the public sector, among others. My previous experience comes from the Ministry of Finance, where I worked on digitalisation projects. I have also worked in various communication and organisational roles alongside my studies. 

I am interested in the interaction between society and business and therefore working at the interface between the two. This is also why I applied to Blic, as the job combines social impact with consultancy in an interesting way. I am inspired by the opportunity to delve into different topics and learn new things, and I have already been able to get involved in a number of thematic assignments at a fast pace.
