Public affairs and advocacy

Regulation can only be good when the views of its subjects are accounted for when it is drafted. Despite the good intentions of lawmakers, this is not automatically achieved, but instead requires proactive advocacy from stakeholders. Whether the issue at hand is a national process or EU-level regulation, effective advocacy accounts for the dynamics of the different stages of lawmaking and presents to decision-makers concrete suggestions for improvements.

Blic’s services include planning and carrying out advocacy actions (together with or on behalf of our clients); drafting of advocacy maps, plans, and materials; auditing; organization of events; training; and the building of coalitions.
