Welcome to Blic, our new analysts Daniel Odabasi and Charlotta Leponiemi

Daniel Odabasi joined Blic in November and works as an analyst at our Brussels office, advising our clients on issues related to EU decision-making. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and is also studying political history in the Master’s program in societal change. Before joining Blic, he worked as a lawyer at a leading business law firm, focusing on EU and competition law, sectoral regulation, as well as sanctions and export controls.

Charlotta Leponiemi also joined Blic at the end of last year and serves as an analyst at our Brussels office. She holds a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Turku and is writing a doctoral dissertation on the impact of decision-making legitimacy on citizens’ climate attitudes. She has diverse experience from the Finnish Parliament and the Embassy of Finland in Washington D.C., and her particular interests include climate and energy policy, EU decision-making, and international relations.
